Victoria Silvester, a nail technician and salon owner, and her husband Jamie Silvester founded OVIC. Cosmetics during the height of the COVID Pandemic. As the COVID pandemic unfolded, nail salons were forced to close, and Victoria was inundated with photos of dried cuticles and chipped and broken nails, which inspired her to create OVIC. Cosmetics.

Victoria had the idea of creating a line of salon-quality, vegan-friendly, cruelty-free nail products for her customers to use at home or on the go.
